Today I went with some friends on a garden tour in Orange. I totally expected to see little fairies flitting around this little cottage garden, but they were being too sneaky...
On a different side of the fence, check out this video of some urban homesteaders in LA County--it only takes about a minute to watch and is definitely worth it. The Boy emailed me the website a few years ago and it looks like they've been discovered by Oprah since. Also, a gardening book on my library list...

Oh, I saw this urban homestead video snip, too! GREAT! I would totally dig that! Not too sure about letting the goats nibble on my hair, though. LOL~ I planted several tomato and squash plants for our little family! YAY!
