Making Mittens
I've gotten the urge to knit mittens. Not mittens in the general sense of the word, but 2 very specific mitten patterns. Its a new knitting challenge for me and breaking into new territory is exciting. I've just cast on the gorgeous mittens on the cover of Winter Gifts by Martin Storey for Rowan (I love this book, by the way—it is fabulous).
The other mittens on my to-make-queue? Bella's Mittens of course! I found these awesome mittens, inspired by a pair that Bella wears in the movie Twilight, when I joined the Twilight Lovers group on Ravelry. Why does this delight me so? Pattern and Photo from Subliminal Rabbit.
