A Real Quilt

Sharing the quilt at the May LAMQD meeting. Photo by Seventeen & 'Em.

More photos to come, but my first real quilt (as in, not a giant potholder) has been given to Sweet Baby Riley. I'm hooked. More quilts to come too!

What a special gift--your first quilt! Having seen it in person and ALL THE LOVE AND LABOR that went into it, I can truly say that it is an amazing piece. Lucky Baby Riley and Mama Anna. Jamie--you are a dear friend...so glad you're my sister. xo

Just love this quilt! Dying to have a go myself but having never made a quilt ( I have all the fabric, cutters and mat etc) not quite sure how to cut the pieces for the block without wasting loads of fabric.
Can you point me to a tutorial for this type of block. Please, please, please?
